Science & quality

What can the evidence tell us about a product?

We separate research on an ingredient or defined extract from direct evidence on the finished product.

The scientific correction

Inflammation is a protective system—and can become a pathway that sustains damage.

Different conditions have different causes and risk factors. Overlapping inflammatory pathways may initiate damage in some contexts, amplify it or obstruct recovery in others. We therefore do not present inflammation as a sole cause or universal explanation.

K-Vie™

Standardisation makes an extract identifiable.

Boswellia products are not automatically equivalent. Species, resin source, extraction method, boswellic-acid profile, particle size, dose and manufacturing quality can all differ.

Evidence hierarchy

Not all evidence carries the same weight.

  1. 04Finished-product human studies

Most direct when formula, population and outcome match.

  2. 03Human studies on the defined active

Useful when its relationship to the finished product is explicit.

  3. 02Research on related extracts

Supporting context, not automatically transferable proof.

  4. 01Mechanistic and laboratory research

Helps explain biological plausibility; does not prove a clinical outcome.
